Sports physical therapy is specialized practice that focuses on prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement of the physically active individual. This includes pre-participation screenings, equipment recommendations, prescribed fitness programs, and much more.
Post-Surgical Rehab
Ensures that you perform the proper exercises after orthopedic surgical procedures to maximize your recovery and ensure safe return to all your desired activities.
Spine Care
We teach core stabilization and specific stretching exercises to prevent reoccurring pain and injury.
Arthritis and Total Joint Replacement Therapy
We prescribe exercises to reduce pain and prevent further joint damage. When you need a joint replacement, we work with your orthopedic surgeon to guide you back to recovery.
Pilates Rehab
Pilates is an exercises system to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility while focusing on breathing, the core and proper movement patterns using mats and specially designed equipment, such as the reformer.
Pain Reduction
Physical therapists diagnose and treat pain through prescribed movement and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, laser, ice, compression. As well as manual therapies.
Dry needling

Dry needling

The use of solid filament needles inserted through the skin and into the muscle to release painful myofascial trigger points. Dry needling results in tissue release allowing for improvements in movement and decrease in pain. It is called “Dry” Needling because there is no solution injected.

Post concussion rehab

Post concussion rehab

the use of manual therapy and guided exercises to reduce the effects of concussion and decrease recovery time. Common side effects of concussions are headaches, fogginess, dizziness, sensitivity to light and sound, decreased endurance, and impaired performance.

Manual Therapies

Dry Needling

Dry Needling (Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling) is the use of either solid filiform needles (also referred to as acupuncture needles) for therapy of muscle pain, including pain related to myofascial pain syndrome, characterized by sore, tight trigger points in muscles.

Joint Mobilization and Massage-Mobilization

Joint Mobilization and Massage-Mobilization is a controlled process of articular and soft-tissue (myofascial) stretching intended to improve bio-mechanical elasticity. Massage is typically the repetitive rubbing, stripping or kneading of myofascial tissues to principally improve interstitial fluid dynamics.

Instrumented Soft Tissue Massage

Enables clinicians to detect and effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions, as well as maintain optimal range of motion by using specialized tools.

Injury Prevention
Many injuries can be prevented with training in correct biomechanics, strengthening and stretching programs.
Fitness Programs
Individual exercise programs are designed to maximize training and fitness programs to help you reach your goals of health, wellness and fitness. The American Physical Therapy Association recommends an annual fitness physical to promote optimal health, wellness, and fitness, as well as to slow progression of physical limitations and disabilities.
Healing Modalities

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a method of stimulating the tissue beneath the skin’s surface using very high frequency sound waves to a healing area to reduce pain, increase blood flow and soften scar tissue.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) or neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) is the elicitation of muscle contraction using electric impulses. EMS is a strength training tool for healthy subjects and athletes, a rehabilitation and preventive tool for partially or totally immobilized patients, a testing tool for evaluating the neural and/or muscular function. TENS, or transcutaneous electrical stimulation uses sensory only electrical stimulation to reduce pain.

Game Ready Cold Compression Therapy

Cold Compression combines two of the principles of R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) to reduce pain and swelling from a sports or activity injury to soft tissues and recommended by orthopedic surgeons following surgery. The therapy is especially useful for sprains, strains, pulled muscles and pulled ligaments.

Cold Laser

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a form of alternative medicine that uses low-level (low-power) lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to stimulate cell function.

Vestibular Rehab

Vestibular Rehab

Exercise-based program primarily designed to reduce vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and/or imbalance and falls.

Yoga therapy

Yoga therapy

The application of yoga techniques including physical postures, meditation, and breathing to address various physical ailments.
